Here are the key requirements: API 13A Specification
- Density: 4.20 g/cm³ minimum / 4.10
- Particle Size: – 95% passing 75 μm (200 mesh)
- Particle Size: -75% passing 45 μm (325 mesh)
- Solubility: 1% maximum soluble in water pH: 6.0-8.0
- Moisture Content: 1% maximum
- Impurities:
- Calcium carbonate (CaCO3): 1% maximum
- Silicon dioxide (SiO2): 2% maximum
- Aluminum oxide (Al2O3): 1% maximum
- Iron oxide (Fe2O3): 1% maximum
Barite powder meeting API 13A specifications ensures consistent quality and performance in drilling mud applications,

Packing Details: Multi-layer paper bags or HDPE/PP woven bags
